     General

  • We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any such changes will take effect when posted on this website (as dated at the top of this page) and your continued use of the this website shall signify your acceptance to be bound by the latest terms and conditions.

  • For the purposes of the Data Protection Act, we do not sell, share or make available any of your personal details, including email addresses, to any other company or individual. All information provided is for the sole use of Haskells to process your order.

  • Your rights to return goods purchased on this website are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.

    Order process

  • All orders placed on this website will be subject to acceptance in accordance with these terms and conditions.

  • After the checkout stage, we will send via email an order acknowledgement. This email does not constitute an order confirmation or order acceptance from Haskells.

  • Acceptance of your order and completion of the contract between you and Haskells will take place on dispatch to you of the products ordered unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled it.

     Payment

  • We take payment from your card via PayPal at the time we receive your order, once your card details have been checked.

  • Goods are subject to availability.

  • In the event we are unable to supply the goods you have ordered, we will inform you of this as soon as possible.

  • If alternative goods are not available or you decline to receive alternative goods then a full refund will be given where you have already paid for the goods.

  • Online payments are made using PayPal which is a specialist secure online payment processing company. Haskells do not hold your credit card details on file.

  • Title to any goods you order on this website shall pass to you on delivery of the products provided that we have processed and received payment with cleared funds in full for the products.

  • All prices shown include VAT (where applicable) at the appropriate current rates.

Paying by Credit / Debit cards via PayPal...instructions

  • Click on the relevant "Add to Basket" buttons to order

  • When you are ready, click on "View Basket"

  • At the "Checkout" you will be directed to a secure web site. Your credit card details are not stored by Haskells

  • If you already have a PayPal account then you'll know how to use it, if you are new to PayPal follow the instructions given.

  • Please fill in all the appropriate empty boxes during payment via PayPal.

  • You will receive a confirmation email from PayPal of your transaction with them.

  • Please note reserve the right not to accept your payment until your PayPal account has been verified.

  • All deliveries will require a signature upon receipt of goods.

Paying by personal cheque...instructions

  • Please telephone / email to check availability before sending your cheque.

  • Please make your cheque payable to Haskells and send to
    71 High Street, Woburn Sands, Bucks. MK17 8QY

  • You can click on "View Basket" and then go to the "Checkout" page.

  • DO NOT proceed to credit card payments, use the "pay by cheque" method

  • Enclose with your order, your full name, address, postcode and telephone number.

  • All cheques will take at least 5 days to clear before the goods will be dispatched.

  • You will receive a confirmation email informing you the goods have been sent.

  • All deliveries will require a signature upon receipt of goods.

     Carriage / Delivery

  • Please note : We ship Lampe Berger products by City-Link courier only. This is a flat rate of £7.65 per order.

  • All Jewellery items are sent by Royal Mail.

  • We only ship to a UK mainland address. All other UK deliveries by prior arrangement
    (there is an additional charge for this service)

  • Lampe Berger Wicks/Burners are sent by Royal Mail and the price includes postage.

  • Lampe Berger Orders over £75 are sent carriage FREE

  • Jewellery Orders: Free 1st Class Recorded on order values of £7.00 or more.
    Free 1st Class Special Delivery on order values of £50 or more.

  • We offer a FREE delivery service for any item bought on this website if the delivery address is an MK17 or MK1-MK10 postcode. Applies to Jewellery and Lampe Berger products.

  • Please allow at least 2 working days for dispatch.

  • Most deliveries are dispatched for next day delivery, before 17.30 hrs (But no deliveries on Saturdays)

  • Should this be inconvenient then please specify a different delivery address at the point of purchase. Any subsequent change in delivery address will incur an additional re-charge of the carriage rate.

  • A signature is required as proof of delivery. However, should you not be available to accept your parcel, it will be left with a neighbour and a card pushed through your door. If no one else will accept the parcel on your behalf then you have 5 days in which to collect it from your local depot.

  • Failure to collect your parcel will result in it being returned to us and re-delivery will be charged for in all cases.
