Woburn Sands retains the charm of a place that is half-urban, half-rural. It is a thriving residential area, much of it surrounded by beautiful woodland. The range of high-street shops is surprisingly extensive.

Here you will find that village-type atmosphere, all that you may need for everyday living, service with old-style courtesy, and personal attention from all the businesses listed in this guide. The town (though we are hardly a large one!) is easy to reach, whether you live locally or are coming from afar. If you are driving, you can park right outside the shops or in two car parks just off the High Street or in some of the nearby roads. Most people who live locally know and support the businesses listed here; they also make full use of an extensive range of services. Their support is valued and is vital to the continued prosperity of the district and its sense of community.
